You know the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words". Well, I agree with this saying 100%. There is no better way to read a person's feelings than observing their behavior in picture form. Here are a few of my personal favorites. (:

"Hey everyone LOOK! I just rolled over!!!"

"Hey! No one is giving me bunny ears!!!

Oh, nevermind!!!!!"

"Oh my gosh......this is SO cool!"

"AHHHH we are so excited!" "No way! It's just what I wanted!!!!" This here was supposed to be a nice picture, but we got distracted by the little girly in the window waving at us! "Awww how cute!!!"

"Dang it!!! She found us....."

"OOOHHH MY GOSH!!! For me?!?! You shouldn't have!!!"

"Jeff: what a good movie!"

Lydia: wow....this is dumb."

"Ugh! I never get what I want!"

One word......"Busted!!!"

"MOM! I said NO MORE PICTURES!"

Introductions.... (:

Alrighty, so here is my family:
Mom:
She is fun, crazy, and pretty cool. (But don't tell her I said that!!!)
Dad: This here is my dad. As you can see, being a father
comes natural to him by now, even with other people's kids. (:

Emily and Grace: These two are BEST FRIENDS. They are practically

inseparable. Emily is on the right and Grace is on the left.

Sophia: She is such a little sweetheart.
She is the helpful and enthusiastic one!!! (:

Allison: What a cutie. Leave it to her to melt your heart!

Her and Sophia are really close!

Lydia: She's the baby of the family! She knows

how to get what she wants with her pouting and cuteness. (:

Update...finally!

Alright, so I decided it is time to catch up on this blog...again. (: I have so many random thoughts and I realized that this would be the PERFECT way to express them. So I am going to start all over and hopefully find the time to update this blog on a regular basis. (:

Blonde moments

It always frustrates me when people call me a dumb blonde. It has come to the point where people make jokes about dumb blonde jokes. Seriously, the stereotype is unfair. But I have come to realize that I fit the description perfectly. I take forever to understand a joke, and do not know if someone is being sarcastic or not, and I ask the dumbest questions! I remember last year, when our speech team was coming back from a speech meet, my coach showed us where the CURRENT principal at the highschool went in the ditch some years ago. And I asked, "Did he survive??" Of all questions, that is what came out of my mouth. Blonde moment.
More blonde moments...

Me: Why can't I get the car to go? I am stepping on the gas...

Mom: You are stepping on the brake.

Me: How come the door won't open! I am pulling! Oh wait, it says push...heehee :)

Not good at sports...

Just the other day, I was babysitting these ADORABLE little kids, Jeff (4 years old) and Macy (2 years old). Jeff wanted me to play football with him while Macy played with the memory game. So Jeff was trying to play with me, and he is saying, "Punt it, Brooke!!!" and my reply is, "What do you mean?" After 5 minutes of playing, he looks at me and says, "You don't know how to play football, let's play basketball." I could not play that either. Jeff comes up to me and says, "You are really bad at sports!" Haha, thanks a lot!! Guess I am not really the athletic type! And that was from a 4 year old!!

Unorganized...

Well, I am really not good at keeping up with my blog...obviously. But I really will try to update it once in awhile now. I am now a freshman!!! Highschool is fun, I guess. But I wish I had never complained in the eighth grade about having too much work to do. I am doing my regular subjects, and then home economics, health, and physical education. Last summer I got my driving permit, and I can take the test for my license anytime now. As soon as I re-learn how to parallel park... (Wish me luck with that!!! :S ) I will finally turn 15 in April! So that is what is going on around here right now. :)

Well, here I am!!!

Hey everybody, my name is Brooke! I am new to all this, so I hope you will forgive any little mistakes. I am the oldest of 6 girls; three of us are being homeschooled. The others girls are too young for school yet. I live in a very small town that consists of eight houses, and a pump in the middle of the road. (The road curves around the pump. I will post some pictures up soon.) I love living here, but enjoy quick trips to busier places every once and a while!!! I am almost 14 years old, and am in the eighth grade. My hobbies are reading, baking, and messing around on the computer. I play the violin, and love spelling. My favorite subject in school is English, and history is my second favorite subject. I am bad at science, and average at math. I participate in speech and drama at the public school, and I love it. One thing you should know is that my life is never boring, and I mean never!!!! Living with 5 other sisters is not always a blast, but I cannot imagine life without them. My parents are the best parents ever (In my opinion!!!), and I am completely content with my life. With such a great family, I don't think I could ask for anything more.
